As part of the market analytics team, Hugo supports LSTA’s efforts to enhance market visibility, transparency and liquidity. He contributes to LSTA’s analytical and reporting initiatives, including secondary trading and settlement data initiatives. Hugo also plays a role in managing strategic data partnerships, including the LSTA/LSEG Mark-to-Market Pricing Service and the Morningstar/LSTA Leveraged Loan Index, and contributes to the development of LSTA’s educational programs and conferences.
Prior to joining LSTA, Hugo was director of analysis at LSEG, where he focused on the leveraged loan and CLO markets and served as product manager for LPC Collateral, LSEG’s CLO analytics platform. During his tenure, he produced market research and supported analytical products across the broader capital markets, and was also a frequent contributor to LSEG’s flagship publications, including Gold Sheets.
Hugo holds a B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from Montclair State University.
