On January 9th, Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Withdrawal Agreement Bill passed through its final stage in the House of Commons. With no more Parliamentary hurdles expected, the UK now seems ready to leave the EU, as scheduled, on January 31st. We were thrilled that our expert on Brexit, Clifford Chance’s Partner Simon Crown, returned to update us on the developments of the last few months and let us know what we can expect when Brexit really does take place.
